With so many out there and so many different types, it may be useful to outline the differences between flanges with a tape border and a flange with a full flange border.

Tape Border:

Feels “lighter” on the body.
Ideal for those who prioritize having a lower profile.
Can take longer to dry when wet.
Can be more irritating to the skin.

Full Flange Border:

Commonly referred to as a “no tape border”.
Stiffer and feels bulkier on the body.
Border is made out of hydrocolloid and gentler on the skin.
